IVG Pro 12 pods: what they are, and what still fits

IVG Pro 12 and IVG Pro are the same thing

This is IVG’s own answer, from their product documentation:

“Is the IVG PRO the same as the IVG PRO 12? Yes. IVG PRO 12 was renamed to IVG PRO. The device and refill system remain compatible, so you can replace your old PRO 12 device with this one.”

So if you have a Pro 12 sitting in a drawer, it takes current stock. You are not shopping for a discontinued product — you are shopping for the same product under its current name.

The “12” is millilitres, not puffs

This is the part that causes the most confusion, and it is worth being blunt about because the wrong reading is flattering and wrong.

The 12 refers to 12ml of e-liquid: a 2ml pod plus a 10ml refill container that clicks onto it. It is not a puff count. The puff figure IVG publishes is up to 10,000 per pod.

One pod fits three devices

The same refill pod works across the whole Pro line:

• IVG Pro — the current name
• IVG Pro 12 — the old name for the same device
• IVG Pro 2 — the second generation, which IVG states uses the same refill pod

That is unusually convenient. Buying into the Pro system does not strand you when the device generation moves on, which is not true of every pod system.

What you actually need to buy

If your device works, you only need pods. A pod is the 2ml prefilled pod plus its 10ml refill container — together, the 12ml.
