How to refill an IVG Pro pod

The IVG Pro does not refill the way most pod kits do. There is no bottle and no nozzle: the pod arrives with a separate 10ml refill container that clicks onto it. If you are standing there looking for a fill port, that is why you cannot find one.

The sequence

  1. 1Take the pod out of its packaging and remove every stopper and sticker. There is more than one, and a missed stopper is the most common reason a new pod does not draw.
  2. 2Line up the 2ml pod and the 10ml refill container and push them together until you hear a click.
  3. 3Push the connected pod into the device until it seats.
  4. 4Draw. No buttons — the Pro is inhale-activated.

Changing a pod

Pull the old pod straight up and out of the device — it is a friction fit, so it wants a firm, straight pull rather than a wiggle. Then repeat the steps above with the new one.

Why it is built this way

The 2ml pod is the part UK law caps — prefilled pods cannot be larger. The 10ml refill container is the legal maximum for a bottle. Clicking them together gets you 12ml in one purchase without breaking either limit, and without pouring liquid into a tank.

That is also where the “12” in the old IVG Pro 12 name came from: 12ml, not a puff count.

How often will you be doing this?

IVG quotes up to 10,000 puffs per pod. How long that lasts depends on you — a heavy vaper will get through one considerably faster than a light one, so treat the figure as a ceiling.
