IVG Pro vs IVG Pro 2: what actually changed

The honest summary first: the IVG Pro 2 is a refinement of the Pro, not a reinvention. If you are hoping for a reason to upgrade, the strongest one is the screen. If you are worried about your pods being obsolete, you can stop worrying.

What is identical

• The pods. IVG states the Pro 2 takes the same refill pod as the Pro. Same flavours, same strengths, same 2ml + 10ml format.
• Battery. 1000mAh, Type-C charging, on both.
• Capacity. 12ml per pod — 2ml plus a 10ml refill — on both.
• Puff count. Up to 10,000 per pod on both.
• Draw. Both are MTL, inhale-activated, no buttons.

What is different

Short list, honestly told:

• Touch battery display. The Pro 2’s screen shows battery state clearly. This is the real day-to-day difference — knowing whether you need to charge before leaving the house.
• Coil. IVG specifies a 0.8 ohm mesh coil on the Pro 2.
• Dimensions. The Pro 2 is 75mm x 49.5mm x 28mm.
